De'Longhi makes a variety of home appliances, including air conditioners, heaters, humidifiers, blenders, microwave ovens, espresso makers, grills, fryers, toasters, vacuums, and irons. De'Longhi operates in about 50 countries through its Household and Professional divisions. The professional group includes Climaventa and DL Radiators cooling and heating systems for commercial clients like shopping centers, hospitals, and hotels. De'Longhi, which was founded in the 1950s, has expanded primarily through acquisitions. In 2001 it purchased UK-based Kenwood Appliances.
