Wyoming Valley Health Care System (WVHCS) cares for the rugged folk in the wilds of Pennsylvania. WVHCS operates the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, an acute care facility with some 300 beds that serves northeastern Pennsylvania residents. The hospital includes a women's and children's center, cardiac care unit, and a cancer care center. The hospital's North Star Lodge facility, an outpatient facility designed in a mountain-lodge setting, treats cancer patients.

Yale New Haven Health System is a health care haven for residents of Southern Connecticut, Southwestern Rhode Island, and parts of New York's Westchester County. The company operates Yale-New Haven Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, and Bridgeport Hospital (and has a contract relationship with The Westerly Hospital in Rhode Island), as well as children's, cancer, psychiatric care hospitals. In addition, Yale New Haven Health System operates outpatient facilities and provides such managed care services as network contracting, as well as disease management programs. The system is affiliated with Yale University's medical school.

Yale-New Haven Hospital, part of the Yale New Haven Health System, provides tertiary care in more than 100 medical specialties to residents of southwestern Connecticut. The hospital has nearly 950 beds; about 200 of those beds are part of Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital and about 75 are part of Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. In addition to pediatrics and behavioral health care, Yale-New Haven Hospital provides cardiac and cancer care, performs organ transplants, and offers a variety of outpatient clinics. The medical center serves as the primary teaching hospital for Yale University's medical school.

Yoakum Community Hospital facility serves rural communities in South Central Texas by offering specialized services such as surgery, emergency medicine, labor and deliver, physical therapy, and radiology. The 25-bed facility, which has a staff of about 10 physicians, was founded in 1922. The hospital was originally owned by the city but has passed through numerous hands over the years including, the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament and Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate word. Houston-based Memorial Hermann Healthcare System now provides the hospital with management services.
