St. Luke's Health System strives to live up to its namesake. The regional not-for-profit health system provides a range of health services to residents of Idaho, eastern Oregon, and northern Nevada. St. Luke's is home to four general acute care hospitals with a total of about 800 beds. Its flagship facility is the 400-bed St. Luke's Boise Regional Medical Center, which also includes a full-service children's hospital. St. Luke's also runs a network of cancer care sites under the name Mountain States Tumor Institute, as well as diagnostic imaging and breast cancer detection centers.
