Scott & White serves the health care needs of Central Texas. The health care organization is a multi-specialty physician-led organization that operates hospitals in Temple, Brenham, Killeen, Round Rock, Taylor, and Waco. Scripps Health is affiliated with The Scripps Research Institute, which performs biomedical research. The Scripps Foundation for Medicine and Science serves as a fundraiser for both the hospital group and the research institute.

Seattle Children's Hospital has some 250 beds, serves children and infants of all ages. Its specialty units include psychiatric care, neonatal intensive care, and rehabilitation for children disabled by injuries, illness, or congenital complications. In addition to its primary campus, Seattle Children's Hospital operates numerous outpatient clinics in the Puget Sound area. It also provides outreach services throughout the Pacific Northwest as well as in Alaska and Montana. Seattle Children's Hospital provides telemedicine services in Idaho.
