ProMedica Health System is a not-for-profit health care provider offering a full spectrum of medical services to residents of Ohio and southeastern Michigan. The not-for-profit subsidiary provides health care to the southern region of Los Angeles through two acute care hospitals (Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro and Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center Torrance), as well as more than two dozen urgent care clinics, doctors' offices, home health and hospice facilities, and specialty outpatient care centers. Services include diagnostic imaging, emergency care, cancer treatment, cardiac care, surgery, and women and children's health care. The Providence Little Company of Mary health system is led by CEO Nancy Carlson.

Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center is an acute care hospital serving the San Fernando Valley in the Los Angeles area. The Burbank hospital has about 430 beds and a staff of more than 650 physicians providing emergency, general health, surgery, and specialty services. Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center also provides services through its cancer center, heart and vascular center, imaging center, and rehabilitation program. In addition, the hospital operates home health and hospice programs. The hospital was established in 1943 and is part of the Providence Health System-Southern California division of Providence Health & Services.
