FirstHealth of the Carolinas maintains a health care network that spans across 15 counties in the mid-Carolinas. The integrated health system (formed in the 1995 merger of Fanny Allen Hospital, Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, and University Health Center) serves residents of Vermont and northern New York through some 35 patient care sites and 100 outreach clinics. Its three primary hospital campuses have a combined 560-bed capacity and a medical staff of some 800 health care providers representing medical specializations including emergency/trauma care, pediatrics, and women's health. The health care system receives some 54,000 emergency visits each year.

The Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center opened in 1997. Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center provides care to residents of central Florida. The not-for-profit, 160-bed medical center is the flagship facility of the Florida Hospital Heartland division of Adventist Health System. Other facilities in the Heartland system include Florida Hospital Lake Placid (a 50-bed community hospital), Florida Hospital Wauchula (25 beds), various fitness centers, medical clinics, and counseling agencies. Together the facilities provide primary and acute care, as well as specialty medical services including diagnostics, obstetrics, cardiac care, and cancer treatment.

Established in 1938 and named after the philanthropic leader of the Waterman Fountain Pen Company, Florida Hospital Waterman has been part of the Adventist Health System since 1992. Florida Hospital Waterman is a 200-bed community hospital serving the residents of Lake County, Florida, just north of Orlando. The hospital provides a full range of acute care services, including cardiac and cancer care, emergency services, obstetrics, pediatrics, and rehabilitation. It also offers outpatient surgery, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and home health services, and it operates a primary care clinic.
