From its modest beginning in 1896 as a cottage occupied by seven German Methodist deaconesses ministering to the poor and sick, Bethesda North Hospital has grown into the fourth largest hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bethesda North is a full-service acute care hospital with more than 400 beds. It provides comprehensive medical and surgical care, including maternity and fertility services, emergency care, and diagnostic imaging. The hospital joined with fellow Cincinnati health care provider Good Samaritan Hospital in 1995 to form TriHealth. Together, the two hospitals offer care at some 50 locations, including primary care offices, fitness centers, and occupational health facilities.
