Wi-LAN has licensed its patents to more than 200 clients who incorporate it into wireless, wireline, and V-Chip (used to filter out inappropriate television programming) technology. Clients have included Cisco, Nokia, Panasonic, and Samsung. The company's portfolio includes over 750 patents.
