By 2011 Alma Maritime will have four more 158,000 DWT Suezmax tankers, all ready to be chartered by Japan's Sanko Steamship. The company filed to go public in 2010.

Its fleet includes large, medium-speed, roll-on/roll-off (LMSR) vessels, which are designed to carry tanks and armored personnel carriers, and maritime pre-positioning ships (MPS), which are equipped with helicopter landing decks as well as room for freight.
