Associated Weavers International (AWI) hopes its products will continue to be trampled upon for years to come. Producing tufted and woven carpets, the company exports its products worldwide but enjoys a prominent place within European markets. Products include wall-to-wall carpets, rugs, runners, and carpet tiles for both industrial and residential clients under the brand names AW, Balsan, and Prado. In 2006 AWI was acquired by Belgian holding company, Beaulieu Kruishoutem Group. After the acquisition AWI added the materials sourcing, processing, and nylon yarn production operations of sister company, Beaulieu Nylon, to its own carpet-making enterprise.
