President Bob Moore and his wife, Charlee, founded Bob's Red Mill in 1978; fulfilling Moore's original intent to share his success with his employees, it became employee-owned in 2010. No changes to the company's staff or operations were made. Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods company stone grinds whole grains into bread mixes, cereals, natural and organic flour, and pancake and waffle mixes. Its 400-plus products are sold at grocery stores throughout the US and Canada; it also sells bulk mixes to large-scale food-manufacturing customers. Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods company operates a visitor's center, store, and bakery/cafe in Milwaukie, Oregon.
