SimEx-Iwerks simulates sight, sound, and motion. The firm designs motion-simulation machines for such venues as museums, zoos, shopping centers, and theme parks. SimEx-Iwerks markets models in both open- and closed-cabin designs, which seat 6 to 51 people. Its library of more than 150 simulator films are produced by subsidiary SimEx Digital Studios. SimEx-Iwerks machines and films are used in attractions by such clients as Universal Parks & Resorts, the Dolly Parton Entertainment Park, and the San Diego Wild Animal Park. Founders Michael Needham, F. Gerald Townsend, and Shiori Sudo collectively own about 23% of the company.

Simworx Ltd. creates simulation systems for entertainment, educational, and promotion purposes. Its products include capsule simulators, motion theatres, and 3D/4D effects theatres which have seats that move in sync with the action on screen, as well as spray audiences with water, smoke, and bubbles. Simworx systems are used at venues such as theme parks, zoos, museums, and schools. Simworx Ltd. also has library of live action and computer-animated content in 2D and 3D.

This limited partnership, managed by a subsidiary of Six Flags, provides management and operations services for Six Flags Over Georgia, an amusement park in an Atlanta suburb. Six Flags Over Georgia II L.P. leases the park site (290 acres) and is under contract to provide management services until 2026. The partnership also owns Six Flags White Water Atlanta, a 69 acre water park some 20 miles from the Six Flags Over Georgia park.
