Used to assist in healthy growth, reproduction, disease resistance, trace minerals such as chromium, copper, manganese, and zinc, are becoming an integral addition to livestock diets. Zinpro offers some 20 different mineral supplements under the Availa name. It also offers a line of Zinpro dog food. The company operates two manufacturing plants in the US. Its products are distributed worldwide. The company's first supplement, Zinpro 40, was developed in 1971 by the late Dean Anderson, who founded the company that same year.
