Thailand fills its tanks thanks to integrated oil company PTT, the nation's largest company. Its PTT Oil transportation and marketing unit operates more than 1,200 gas stations. PTT Gas procures, processes, transports, and distributes natural gas. PTT owns 49% of the nation's largest refiner, debt-plagued Thai Oil. Other PTT units engage in oil and gas exploration and production and produce petrochemicals. Thailand, which created PTT to secure energy supplies during the oil crunch of the late 1970s, sold a third of the company in a 2001 IPO. In 2008 the Government of Thailand owned 52% of PTT.

Quality Oil Company was organized in December 1929. Initially, the Company had been created to launch a distributorship for the then unheard of, Shell Oil Company. This distributorship was originally owned by W. H. Leonard and an unknown partner. Joe Glenn and his uncle, Bert Bennett, Sr. bought the business in 1930. Although the partnership changed hands, the original name of the distributorship remained the same. W. H. Leonard went on to form his own oil company, Leonard Oil Company, which was purchased by Quality Oil Company sixty years later.

Located directly between Green Bay and Milwaukee, Quality State Oil is in a good spot to fill up when you're driving through Wisconsin. The company operates a chain of 21 Q Mart gas stations from which it sells BP, Citgo, Exxon Mobil, and Shell gasoline. Quality State Oil operates its own fleet for distribution and supplies gasoline, diesel, Mobil lubricants, kerosene, heating oil, and fuel oil throughout northeast Wisconsin. The company also has three bulk plants, which have the capacity to store a half-million gallons of fuel.

Quest Resource Corporation's quest is to make money from oil and gas exploration and production. The company acquires, explores, develops, produces, and transports natural gas, primarily coalbed methane. Quest Resource's exploration and drilling efforts are focused in the Cherokee Basin of southeastern Kansas and northeastern Oklahoma, and the Appalachian Basin, where it is accumulating leasehold acreage. The company has net proved reserves of 211 billion cu. ft. of net proved reserves (99% of which is coalbed methane) and operates more than 2,000 miles of gas gathering pipeline in Kansas and Oklahoma. In 2008 the company shifted its strategic focus to the Appalachian Basin.
