Trading natural gas for retail cash, Gendis holds 2.5 million units of Fort Chicago Energy Partners, a limited partnership with interests in North American natural gas pipelines and plants. Gulf South Pipeline is a “web-like” interstate natural gas pipeline system that gathers gas from basins between Texas and Alabama and delivers it to on-system markets within its footprint and to off-system markets in the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast through interconnections with third-party pipelines. Gulf South is located entirely in the Gulf Coast states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Gulf South is headquartered in Houston, Texas with operational offices in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.

In the case of Gulfstream Natural Gas, the name says it all. The natural gas transportation and storage company, delivers approximately 1.25 billion cu. ft. of natural gas per day from source areas on the Gulf Coast (in East Louisiana and Mississippi) to customers in Central and Southern Florida. Its system consists of some 745 miles of pipeline (including 294 miles of pipeline in Florida and 419 miles offshore). The company boasts the largest pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico. Gulfstream Natural Gas is a joint venture between The Williams Companies and Spectra Energy.
