Teco-Westinghouse Motor Company manufactures electric motors, generators, drives, and power solutions. It offers auxiliary motors for pumps, fans, and cranes for the marine industry; and turbine assemblies for the wind industry. The company also provides custom motors, including induction, synchronous, and DC motors; stock motors, such as single phase, three phase ODP and TEFC, and medium voltage ODP and TEFC motors; and drives and controls, which include AC drives, solid state starters, and soft starters. In addition, it offers renewal parts and motor repair services; and engineering services, such as testing, commissioning, installation and removal assistance, troubleshooting, engineering studies evaluations, alignments, on-site rewinding and reconditioning, redesigns and uprates, and training services.
Teco-Westinghouse Motor serves the petrochemical, electric utility, pulp and paper, water/wastewater treatment, air conditioning, marine, mining, and metals industries. Its products are used in ship propulsion, mine hoists, and steel rolling mills applications; and to drive fan drive pumps, fans, compressors, rolling mills, grinders, crushers, and rugged applications. Teco-Westinghouse Motor Company was founded as The Westinghouse Motor Company in 1988 and changed to its present name in 1997. The company is headquartered in Round Rock, Texas. It has manufacturing and design facilities in Round Rock, Texas; and Chung Li, Wuxi, and JianXi, China. Teco-Westinghouse Motor Company operates as a subsidiary of TECO Electric & Machinery co., Ltd.
