Earth's unique qualities make life possible on this planet. But today, the world's green mantle is disappearing fast. The pace of extinction has accelerated dramatically in recent times as a result of human activity. Forests are cleared, wetlands drained, and species are lost forever due to overuse or misuse of our natural resources. Whatever we do for the environment today is neither service nor a great achievement. It is a matter of our own survival and well-being. By taking small remedial steps today we can make a big difference tomorrow, in our own lives and that of others. GreenEdu is a small step in this direction. Through our various training programmes and capacity-building workshops, we seek to educate, inform and promote holistic environmental education to children and adults alike. Our programmes enhance awareness, help develop necessary skills to resolve day-to-day environmental problems, and help people become responsible citizens.
