I was quite confused about my career options, when I approached GIIP, as very few opportunities existed for Aerospace Engineers in our Country. I tried for a job with some of the leading Companies in Aerospace, but did not get lucky. The job offered by one of the Companies was not suitable to my Engineering background, so I denied the job. The others wanted me to do Masters or PhD before applying for a job. I was left with two options, to take up a job as a software programmer with an IT company or spend few more years studying and then pursue a career in the Aerospace sector. During this confusion, I was considered joining LLB course, when I came across the subject of Intellectual Property Rights. Soon I realized that by becoming a patent professional, I will be able to justify my technical knowledge acquired during B-Tech and it would also allow me to pursue a techno-legal career in future.
