Paytm Mall sale: Here's how to get Rs 16,000 cashback on iPhone X, Google Pixel 2 and other smartphones

Paytm Mall has launched its week-long Maha Cashback Sale. Paytm Mall's Maha Cashback sale has started from Novermber 1 and will last till November 7. Under its cashback sale, Paytm Mall is offering up to Rs 16,000 in flat cashback on popular smartphones.

The platform has also extended exchange offers worth up to Rs 21,000 along with no-cost EMIs in partnership with all major banks. All purchases made through Axis Bank Credit/Debit Cards will receive an additional cashback of 10% (up to Rs 2,500).

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Get flat 8% discount on Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (128 GB) alongside Rs 6,000 cashback. With it, the device is effectively available for Rs 59,400 (including Axis Bank offer) down from its market price of Rs 73,600.

Google Pixel 2 XL: Google Pixel 2 XL is available for Rs 33,999 effectively (including bank offer) during the Maha Cashback Sale. Paytm Mall has supported this in-demand smartphone with a flat 4% discount along with a flat cashback of Rs 7,000.

iPhone X: Paytm Mall is extending a flat cashback of Rs 16,000 on all variants of iPhone X. Given this, iPhone X (64 GB) – which is originally priced at Rs 95,390 – is effectively available for as less as Rs. 66,000 during the ongoing sale post cashback, exclusive discount, and bank offer.

Vivo V11 Pro: Vivo V11 Pro (64 GB) is available on Paytm Mall with flat 10% discount at Rs 25,990. The platform is also offering a shopping voucher worth Rs 4,000, bringing its effective price to Rs 19,490 (including bank offer).

Vivo V9 Youth: Paytm Mall is offering a 30% discount on Vivo V9 Youth having 6.3” full-body display. Additionally, the platform is also offering 12% cashback to its customers during the festive sale. This has made the effective price of the smartphone Rs 11,087 (including bank offer) or roughly 45% off on its MRP.

Moto E5 Plus: A flat discount of 23% is available on Motorola’s Moto E5 Plus (32 GB) alongside an additional 20% cashback. With it, the effective price of the device has become Rs 7,163 (including bank offer) for Paytm Mall customers.

The benchmark BSE Sensex cracked over 300 points in early trade on Monday tracking losses in index heavyweights RIL, HDFC and ICICI Bank, amid weak global cues, sinking rupee and soaring crude oil prices.

The 30-share index was trading 309.56 points or 0.79% lower at 38,830.72. The NSE Nifty too plunged to 101.80 points, or 0.87%, to 11,651.


Rupee falls 47 paise to 69.82 against US dollar in early trade

The rupee fell sharply by 47 paise to 69.82 against the US dollar in early trade Monday on higher demand for the greenback from importers and banks.

Forex dealers said besides increased demand of the US currency from importers, lower opening of the equity markets weighed on the rupee.


Sri Lanka blasts: Death toll rises to 290; 13 arrested so far

The toll in a series of eight blasts targeting mostly churches and hotels in Sri Lanka on Sunday has risen to 290, a police spokesman said Monday.

More than 500 people were wounded in the blasts, he added, in the deadliest violence since the end of the country's long-running civil war a decade ago.


Maruti Suzuki cuts discounts on popular models, all sops to go by September

Maruti Suzuki has started lowering discounts on several models to drive up sales before it phases out the practice later this year. Dealers FE spoke to said discounts on popular models such as Alto and Dzire were trimmed from Rs 60,000 earlier to Rs 40,000 in April. The discounts would be further lowered and fully phased out by around August or September.

Similarly, discounts on compact SUV Brezza and premium hatchback Swift have been cut this month by around Rs15,000-Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000, respectively.

Reliance Industries shares slumped nearly 3% to hit the day’s low at Rs 1,345.30 on BSE. Notably, the firm has reported a drop in standalone net profit for the first time in 17 quarters.
