In an attempt to contain misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines, social media giant Facebook has announced that it will remove false claims from its own platform and Instagram about coronavirus and its vaccines.

In a statement released on Monday, the company said that the move is taken after consultations with leading health organisations, including the WHO.

A police constable was beaten to death and a sub-inspector was badly injured after being allegedly attacked by goons in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj, where they had gone to raid an illegal liquor factory in the area. The Ministry of Labour and Employment is likely to complete the process to finalise the rules for four new labour codes soon.
