External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during their bilateral meeting on Friday (local time) discussed regional and global cooperation between India and United States, including joint efforts to address a range of regional issues, such as China, Burma and Afghanistan, a US spokesperson has said.

Telangana's Health Department on Friday revoked the permission granted to Hyderabad's Virinchi Hospital to provide treatment to Covid-19 patients for 'violation of treatment protocols'.

A show-cause notice was sent to the hospital after a complaint was received by the relatives of a deceased person on May 27.

State Bank of India (SBI) and HDFC Bank have moved the Supreme Court and sought a stay on the Reserve Bank of India's directive to banks to provide financially sensitive data under the RTI act, The Times of India reported on Friday.

The single day rise in coronavirus cases was recorded at 1,73,790, the lowest in last 45 days, taking India's total tally of COVID-19 cases to 2,77,29,247, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Saturday.

A new born girl tested positive for COVID-19 at a hospital in Banaras Hindu University's (BHU) Sir Sunderlal Hospital, despite her mother testing negative before the delivery.
