Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, it seems, is determined to break free of the company’s current work culture by taking it back to its core roots when it was under its co-founder Bill Gates.

The year 2018 was particularly a good year for Microsoft as the company continues to grow under the stable leadership of its Indian-origin CEO Satya Nadella. The company which is headquartered in Redmond finished as the most valuable company in the world in November 2018, surpassing Apple and Amazon, reported Forbes.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Thursday said its construction arm has won orders worth Rs 1,060 crore in the domestic market.

"The smart world and communication business has secured a major order from the Andhra Pradesh State FiberNet Limited (APSFL) for Bharatnet Phase-II works to establish an IP/MPLS Infrastructure covering the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh," the engineering and construction major said in a BSE filing.

The telecom regulator Trai has approached the Supreme Court against TDSAT order, which dismissed its predatory pricing tariff rule, Parliament was informed on Wednesday.

“Trai has filed an appeal before Supreme Court against the order of TDSAT dated 13th December, 2018. The appeal is yet to be listed,” telecom minister Manoj Sinha said in a written reply to the Lok Sabha.

New Delhi: The government think tank Niti Aayog have objected the proposal of preferential equity infusion in the two PSUs -- BSNL and MTNL -- amounting to nearly Rs 14,000 crores for acquiring 4G spectrum observing that the returns on such high investments from them are almost nil and it is not essential.

The department of telecom (DoT) had sought Niti Aayog’s views on the 4G spectrum allocation proposals for PSUs — BSNL and MTNL — that might cost the exchequer about Rs 14,000 crore.

New Delhi: Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd has wrested market share from Bharti Airtel Ltd and Vodafone Idea Ltd, as the relatively new entrant in the telecom sector continued to add a large number of users even as its bigger rivals lost customers. Reliance Jio added 10.5 million users in October while Vodafone Idea and Airtel lost 7.3 million and 1.8 million users, respectively, according to data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) on Wednesday.
