Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday termed Tahawwur Hussain Rana's extradition a major breakthrough and said it would help unravel the crucial details of the conspiracy behind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

The 64-year-old Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin, a key accused in the case, landed in Delhi in a special plane from Los Angeles Thursday evening.

In a swipe at opposition parties, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said those hankering for power focus solely on promoting their own families, while his government works on the theme of inclusive development.

Addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone of 44 projects worth Rs 3,880 crore here, he said, "Our guiding mantra in serving the nation has always been 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'. With this spirit, we continue to move forward for the betterment of every citizen".

A pilot of Air India Express died after suffering a cardiac arrest at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday evening, shortly after landing a flight from Srinagar, reported news agency PTI.

The pilot safely completed flight operations when he reportedly vomitted inside the aircraft. Soon after, he collapsed at the airline’s dispatch office at the airport.

Renewable energy player Baldota Group on Thursday said it plans to foray into the steel sector with an investment of Rs 54,000 crore for setting up a project in Karnataka with up to 10.5 million tonnes of (MT) production capacity.
