Bharti Airtel said on Tuesday it has postponed its second-quarter earnings report to mid-November, as the wireless operator sought clarity on the court ruling asking telecom firms to cough up overdue payments to the government.

Shares of the company, which was expected to release its quarterly numbers later in the day, dropped 3.3 per cent in early trade.

Mumbai: Tata Motors shares soared 18% to ₹150 in Sunday’s Diwali ‘Muhurat’ trade. The jump in the stock was in response to the company’s strong September quarter (Q2FY20) performance, as a result of which, US-listed shares of the Indian carmaker had surged 13.2% on Friday.

A $1 billion deal to build Amazon data centres in Saudi Arabia appears to have stalled, following the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, The Washington Post reported.

After Khashoggi's killing in Istanbul last year, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, who also owns The Post, became the target of waves of criticism from Saudi-based online trolls, said the report on Sunday.

Coal India plans to bring 65 per cent of its production under mechanised transportation by 2023-24, with piped conveyor belts replacing existing road transportation at its large mines.

Pakistan has once again denied India the permission for access of its airspace for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flight to Saudi Arabia, ahead of his upcoming visit to the middle-eastern nation. Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said in a statement that Pakistan will not allow PM Modi to use the country's airspace, adding that the Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad has been informed about this decision in written form.
