Former Prime Minsiter Dr Manmohan Singh was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Sunday evening after he complained of chest pain.

Singh was taken to the hospital at around 8:45 PM

According to reports, he has been kept under observation in the cardio-thoracic ward.

The Indian Railways is planning to gradually resume passenger train services from May 12, an official statement from the Ministry of Railways said.

Initially, the operations will resume for 15 pairs of trains (30 return journeys).

India and China had a heated confrontation a few days ago in north Sikkim and troops of both sides received injuries, army sources said on Sunday.

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on Saturday issued notices to the Maharashtra government and the District Magistrate of Aurangabad over the rail accident in the region a day ago, where 16 migrant workers returning home were crushed to death by a goods train.
