Zee Entertainment Enterprise Ltd has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 29.28 crore for the first quarter ended on June, 2020.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 529.76 crore in April-June quarter a year ago, Zee Entertainment Enterprise Ltd (ZEEL) said in a BSE filing.

Non-banking financial company Manappuram Finance on Wednesday said its board has approved raising up to Rs 150 crore through issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on private placement basis.

The board of directors of Manappuram Finance has approved the issuance of market linked, rated, secured, redeemable non-convertible debentures for Rs 100 crore with an option to retain oversubscription up to Rs 50 crore aggregating to Rs 150 crore on private placement route," the lender said in a regulatory filing.

Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd Wednesday announced the launch of Avigan (Favipiravir) 200 mg tablets in India.

In a bizarre incident, some employees of a finance firm allegedly hijacked a passenger bus from New Southern Bypass in Uttar Pradesh's Agra on Wednesday.

The driver and the helper of the bus were forced to get down by the employees and seized control. 34 passengers were on the bus when it was hijacked.

The bus had left from Gurugram in Haryana for Madhya Pradesh.

E-health companies Medlife and PharmEasy have agreed for a merger, according to the filings submitted by the companies to the Competition Commission of India (CCI).
