Pakistan on Friday imposed a ban on Chinese video-sharing Chinese app TikTok after it received a number of complaints from different segments of the society, as reported by Pakistani media Dawn. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) issued instructions to impose a ban. The regulatory body said that several complaints were made against immoral/indecent content that was shared on the app.

Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan's mortal remains arrived at Patna airport in the early hours on Saturday. The last rites will be held today afternoon, (October 10).

The overall number of global coronavirus cases has topped 36.4 million, while the deaths have soared to more than 1,060,860, according to the Johns Hopkins University.
