Maruti Suzuki India is hoping that declining trend in fuel prices and robust rural demand will lift passenger vehicle sales in the remaining months of FY19, a senior company executive said on Wednesday. Petrol prices in New Delhi have come down 10% since hitting record Rs 84/litre on October 4. The domestic auto sales were hit during the festival season by Kerala floods, increase in insurance premium and liquidity crunch in the market.

The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) Wednesday launched a new version of its multi-purpose vehicle Ertiga priced between Rs 744,000 and Rs 109,000 (ex-showroom price Delhi).

The petrol variants, including two automatic trims, are priced between Rs 744,000 and Rs 995,000, while diesel variants are tagged between Rs 884,000 and Rs 109,000.

New Delhi: The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) on Tuesday said it has ramped up the production of its compact SUV Vitara Brezza to reduce waiting period of the model.

The company has increased production of the vehicle by 10 per cent to 94,000 units during April-October period of the current fiscal as compared with same period of 2017-18.
