TVS Motor Company, one of India's leading two wheeler manufacturers, has rolled out a special TVS Scooty Zest 110 'Himalayan Highs' edition'. The company said that this is to commemorate TVS Scooty Zest 110's ride to Khardung La Pass by a female rider, Anam Hashim.

With this feat, TVS Scooty Zest 110 has earned a place in the India Book of Records for being the first 110 cc Scooter to reach Khardung La in the Himalayas, said the company in a statement.

At 09:37 AM, TVS Motor Company was trading 3% higher at Rs 324, extending its 18% rally thus far in March, as compared to 9% rise in the S&P BSE Sensex.

TVS Motor has hit a 52-week high of Rs 320 a share in the Bombay Stock Exchange on March 28. The stock prices saw an upward trend from March 18 and went through a significant hike from March 21.

On March 21, the stock prices went up from Rs 287.6 a share to Rs 305.35 per share, before closing the day. The prices went up during the next days and has hit a 52 week high today. The stock prices were a 52 week low at Rs 201 a share on August 24, 2015, according to BSE.

The S&P BSE Auto index ended up 1% at 17,731 as compared to 0.18% rise in the S&P BSE Sensex which ended at 25,330. Thus far in March, auto index rallied 12% against 10% gain in the benchmark index.

The stock of two-three wheeler maker hit 52-week high of Rs 315 on the BSE in intra-day trade today. It quoting nears to its lifetime high of Rs 322 touched on January 19, 2015.

TVS Motor Company two-wheelers now available online on Snapdeal

COIMBATORE: TVS Motors has entered into a partnership with Snapdeal to sell its motorcycles and scooters online. Nine two-wheeler products from TVS Motor Company will be available on Snapdeal.

Customers will now be able to select the model, colour and dealership of their choice on the 'Snapdeal Motors' platform from the comfort of their homes.
