The company's textile units make knits, silk, and lace, and consumer products such as socks and underwear. In chemicals, Chori manufactures plastics, synthetic resins, and household goods. Other units make automatic vending machines, printing machines, and image-processing components used in manufacturing systems. Chori is also engaged in real estate, insurance, and temporary employment services. Toray Industries owns just over 50% of the company.
