University Medical Center of Southern Nevada is an affiliate of the University of Nevada School of Medicine. The medical center includes a teaching hospital and a network of community and urgent care health centers. The hospital offers specialty services such as cancer treatment, pediatric care, heart care, orthopedics, sports medicine, and women's health. The University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital operates eastern Kentucky's only Level I trauma treatment facility.
