St. Peter's Health Care Services

St. Peter's Health Care Services is a health care system for the residents of Albany, New York, area. The network's primary facility, St. Peter's Hospital, has more than 440 acute-care beds and a medical staff of more than 600 physicians. Specialty services include emergency medicine, cancer and cardiovascular care, and women's health. The hospital was founded by the Religious Sisters of Mercy in 1869. St. Peter's Health Care also operates community health clinics, long-term care facilities, mental health centers, and home health and hospice agencies. The health system is a subsidiary of not-for-profit hospital operator Catholic Health East.
