Accel, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Tara and David Abraham. At the time, Tara was working as a Merchant in Product Development for Bath and Body Works and was responsible for the fine fragrance and home fragrance promotional gift sets. She soon realized that the outsourced sets came back late and poorly assembled. As a result, she saw the need for a contract packaging company that was committed to superior quality and could bring products to market quickly, cost competitively and with a continued focus on innovation.
