Wada Farms operates an irrigated farming enterprise in Southeastern Idaho growing primarily fresh and process potatoes, seed and commercial wheat, corn, alfalfa, sugar beets, and hybrid canola seed.

Founded by farmers in 1937 as Consumers Cooperative Oil Company of St. James, the company has expanded from its roots in petroleum marketing. During its first 30 years, it found additional strength in crop production and grain marketing, and, ultimately, in bulk feed, bulk petroleum, and custom spraying. The company took the name Watonwan Farm Service in 1965.In 1967, a merger with Lewisville Farmers Co-op Elevator launched two decades of expansion. Grain operations in St. James began the same year. By 1979, when Ormsby Farmers Grain Company merged with WFS, grain storage had grown to 300,000 bushels and total locations numbered four. Grain capacity rose steadily to one million bushels by 1993, and convenience stores expanded the cooperative’s mix of services. In 1994, acquisition of LH Grain Co. added two-unit train load out facilities and five elevators. Through a long-term lease agreement in 1996, the company assumed assets from Grain Land Co-op.In 1999, WFS acquired Blue Earth County Service Co. by retiring 100% of equity to its stockholders and also purchased the assets of the former Truman Farmers Elevator. WFS then added five facilities formerly owned by Agro Distributing, LLC, in 2000.

Weil Brothers Cotton is an international cotton merchant. Weil Brothers buys ginned cotton from US producers and markets it worldwide. Located in Montgomery, Alabama, the company was founded in 1878. It has been part of Weil Brothers & Stern Limited, a cotton trader in the UK, since 1991. As such, it handles all sales and administration of the UK company's US, Central and South American, and Chinese operations; it also oversees the company's Australian office. Due to volatile price fluctuations and severe losses in US cotton futures during 2008, Weil Brothers is slated to shut down operations in 2010, as is Weil Brothers & Stern.

West Central Cooperative serves farmers in west-central Iowa. The full-service, farmer-owned agricultural co-op is made up of some 3,100 farmers in 10 counties. It provides administrative services, agronomy services grain marketing (82 million bushels per year), and feed, seed, fertilizer, and soybean processing to its members. The cooperative also operates facilities, the Renewable Energy Group, which converts soy oil into alternative energy fuels. West Central Cooperative traces its roots to the Farmers Elevator Company, which was formed in 1907 to market grain; it became a cooperative (Farmers Cooperative Association of Ralston) in 1933.
