The Technical Services segment offers technical pumping services comprising stimulation services to improve the flow of oil and natural gas from producing zones; nitrogen services that use nitrogen to stimulate wellbores; and cementing services that ensure proper pump time, compression strength, and fluid loss control. Superior Well Services, Inc. also provides completion and production services, including plugging and abandonment services, and roustabout services on well sites. In addition, Superior Well Services, Inc. sells expendable equipment that is used during the cementing process and in the completion of wells, such as plugs, tubing anchors, retainers, and other accessories; and rents electric generators, lighting equipment, and a line of reusable tools and equipments that are used in the completion and production phases. Superior Well Services, Inc. was founded in 1997 and is based in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

Technicoil is an integrated, technology-driven company that provides both primary well drilling and secondary well stimulation services to the oil and gas production industry. Technicoil provides coiled tubing and well-servicing technology to support oil and gas operations in North America. Coiled tubing, originally used for cleaning drilling oil and gas wells, is now used in drilling wells. Technicoil Corporation operates a fleet of 33 well-servicing (coiled tubing) rigs and drilling rigs. Technicoil Corporation has added rigs to its fleet to meet increased demand, driven primarily by more coalbed methane activity in North America. The drilling rigs can perform both directional and vertical drilling. Technicoil, which makes coiled tubing for well cleaning and stimulation, uses three crew members for its slimhole operations.

TerraVest Income Fund (formerly Laniuk Industries) holds six companies close to its vest. TerraVest Income Fund invests in RJV Gas Field Services and Ezee-On Manufacturing. RJV supplies wellhead processing equipment to some of Western Canada's biggest natural gas producers. Ezee-On manufactures agricultural equipment, including cultivators, front-end loaders for grain farms and livestock operations, and seeder carts. TerraVest also has investments in furniture maker Stylus, well servicing company Diamond Energy Services (with about 25 rigs), and home textile products manufacturer Beco Industries. In addition, TerraVest Income Fund has invested in sheet metal and venting products manufacturer Don Park.
