The Hero Dash is Hero’s latest offering in the automatic scooter market. With Honda dominating in this particular area for years now, Hero needed a real game changer to turn the tables around.
To contend in this segment, Hero has on offer the new Dash. The Hero Dash is an 110cc automatic scooter similar to the Maestro.
With a design that seems to be targeted for male buyers, the Dash seeks to displace the popular Honda Activa from the top.
The Dash is powered by an 111cc 4-stroke, force air cooled, single cylinder motor that produces 8.45 hp of power and 9.4 Nm of torque.
It comes with an external fuel filler and a mobile charging socket.
The scooter also comes with LED tail lamps and a service indicator. It will feature 12 inch alloy wheels at the front.
The Dash weighs in at a reasonable 110 kg. The scooter will also come with a seat storage light.
All these are a few handy features that most manufacturers are fail to install even in their newer models to cut costs.
The Hero Dash will use a six litre fuel tank with drum brakes on both wheels that utilize Hero’s integrated Braking technology.
Dash uses an integrated braking system developed by Hero, with 130 mm drum brakes at both the ends and disc brakes are not present.
