Dhawan before she allegedly leaked Paytm's confidential information to her accomplices Rupak Jain and Devendra Kumar, had a career which can make people envy.

Sonia Dhawan is Vice President, Corporations/PR; Paytm and started her career in the company as Vijay Shekhar Sharma's secretary.

Being the secretary of the managing director, Sonia Dhawan had access to all documents and data of the company. Accused Sonia Dhawan, secretary of Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar, her husband Rupak Jain and Devendra Kumar, who worked as senior manager in the administration department of the company was arrested on Monday.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Sonia joined the company in January 2010. She had earlier worked as Business Operations Manager and Corporate Officer in Times Internet and Cairn India. According to a regulatory filing by One97 Communications Ltd — the parent company of Paytm — she held 1,400 shares in the company as of November 2017.

Sonia earned Rs 85 lakh annually, the police said.
