Gold price on Tuesday rose to Rs 48,450 for 10 gm from Rs 47,180 and silver price trending at Rs 65,000 per kg, according to the Good Returns website.

Just a day before the Assembly polls in the state, EVMs were found outside the TMC Leader's house on Uluberia North Assembly seat in Howrah district late Monday night. Gautam Adani-led Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) today announced acquisition of the residual 25 per cent stake in Adani Krishnapatnam Port Ltd, (Krishnapatnam Port) for Rs 2,800 cr.

This will result in APSEZ increasing its stake from 75 per cent to 100 per cent in Krishnapatnam Port, the company informed in a release.
