Vernacular e-learning platform Vidyakul has raised bridge round of funding of $500,000 led by We Founder Circle, and also saw participation from investors including JITO Angel Network and Thinkuvate.

Vidyakul is aimed at providing after-school e-learning for the state board students in vernacular languages. The edtech startup is currently delivering education in 4 languages and has already enabled the same for 1 million students from 10 States.

The leader of the Afghan resistance group waging an intense battle against the Taliban in the Panjshir Valley has said he is open to enter peace talks. Ahmad Massoud said he supported a plan, put forward by religious clerics, for a negotiated settlement, and called on the Taliban to end their offensive.
