Xpressbees extends same-day delivery for D2Cs to 1,000 cities, towns

Ecommerce logistics provider Xpressbees on Tuesday said it has extended its same-day delivery service for D2C (direct-to-consumer) brands to over 1,000 cities and towns, which will help companies in expanding their online presence besides keeping their costs low.

"This is a natural extension of our existing capabilities to newer markets. Our platform processes millions of orders every month. We believe this (expansion to over 1000 cities and towns) will open opportunities for established brands looking to expand their online presence and upcoming D2C brands trying to grow their customer base," said Amitava Saha, Founder, Xpressbees.

KEC International soared to a high of Rs 381.65 in intra-day trades on the BSE, up 5.5 per cent from its previous close on strong volume after the company reported multiple order wins to the exchanges.

As of 10:20 AM, the stock had pared some gains, but was still up 2.9 per cent at Rs 372.30 with trades of around 85,000 shares on the BSE as against its two-week average traded quantity of 7,500-odd shares. Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex too witnssed a pull-back rally and was up 1.2 per cent at 52,226.

Shares of Eureka Forbes surged 12 per cent to Rs 316.40 on the BSE in Tuesday's intra-day trade amid heavy volumes. At 10:52 AM, the stock of the household appliances was trading 10 per cent higher at Rs 312 as compared to 1.4 per cent rise in the S&P BSE Sensex.

The trading volumes on the counter jumped over 20-fold with 1.04 million equity shares having changed hands, so far, against an average sub 50,000 shares traded on the BSE.
