Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of waiving off loans worth Rs 16 trillion of his billionaire friends, and said the country will never forgive him for this "crime".

Bharti Airtel is not in talks to buy UK-based Vodafone Group's 21.05 per cent stake in Indus Towers, the Indian telecom operator said on Wednesday, after a newspaper reported that it was eyeing the stake.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday staged a dharna here protesting against the delay in release of drought relief funds by the Centre and criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah over the issue.

Oman LNG and TotalEnergies, one of its shareholders, have signed a sale and purchase agreement to supply 800,000 metric tons per year of liquefied natural gas, the companies said on Monday.

TotalEnergies, which owns 5.54 per cent of Oman LNG, will be supplied by the company for 10 years from 2025, they said in separate statements.
