New Delhi: As the nine-day long festival to honour Goddess Durga is here, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is offering special 'vrat ka kahan' as a part of its e-catering menu, to make the journey of the people comfortable.

These special meals offered by the IRCTC will be available through selected restaurants and at hand-picked stations on the Indian Railways network.

Lucknow: Seven passengers were killed and 60 others injured as six coaches, including the engine, of the New Farakka Express derailed in Rae Bareli district on Wednesday morning.

The condition of nine injured persons is stated to be critical.

NEW DELHI: Tata Motors is banking on strong rural buying to accelerate sales, as the passenger vehicle industry witnesses softening demand in major cities. The maker of the Tiago small car organised 500-600 rural sales camps in the past six months, which it said led to incremental sales of more than 10,000 units. It now plans to organise more such sales camps.

The world’s largest consumer goods company Procter & Gamble (P&G) on Wednesday said that it was setting up an innovation sourcing fund in India in a move aimed at identifying start-ups and organisations that had industry-leading ideas and solutions.

While P&G did not specify the size of the fund, simply saying that it ran into “multi-million dollars”, the Cincinnati-based company follows its Anglo-Dutch rival Unilever
