Ashok Leyland tanks 8% to Rs 124.10 after Rs 19 crore Q3 net loss

Shares of Ashok Leyland on Friday tumbled 8 per cent after the company reported a net loss of Rs 19 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2020.

The stock tanked 8 per cent to Rs 124.10 on BSE.

On NSE, it plunged 6.77 per cent to Rs 125.90.

I am resigning from Rajya Sabha today. There is violence happening in my state. I feel suffocated that we are not able to do anything about the violence happening in the state. My soul tells me that if you can't do anything sitting here, you should resign. I will continue to work for the people of West Bengal, Trivedi said.

The fuel prices in Assam are going to get cheaper by Rs 5 per litre. This is after the state finance minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, withdrew the additional cess levied on petrol and diesel on Friday (February 12). It is to be noted that the state government's decision comes months before the state witnesses its Legislative Assembly elections.

Sarma also proposed that an additional cess of around 25 per cent imposed on alcoholic beverages in the previous year be withdrawn.
