American Hardwood Industries, Inc.

American Hardwood Industries (AHI) produces and exports lumber manufactured in some nine sawmills and operates sales offices in the eastern US. It markets products under the names Augusta, Blue Triangle, Graham Lumber, and Rossi American Hardwoods, as well as Montebello Flooring. Founded in 1955, the company exports Appalachian and northern hardwood logs, lumber and flooring to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Rossi American Hardwoods and Hardwood Lumber Manufacturing merged in 2007 to create AHI. In 2009 Augusta Lumber acquired most of AHI's assets, with the new company retaining the American Hardwood name (Augusta became AHI's subsidiary). John O'Dea, former president of Augusta, is head of the new company.
