The Enforcement Directorate on Sunday said it has attached assets worth Rs 400 crore in connection with two separate money laundering cases pertaining to bank and lottery frauds in Tamil Nadu.

In the first case, the ED attached property worth Rs 234.75 crore belonging to Saravana Stores (Gold Palace), Chennai.

Coal India Ltd floated its first import tender on behalf of power companies, where Adani Enterprises Ltd came out to be the lowest bidder, a report in The Economic Times said. The company quoted Rs 4,033 crore for the supply of 2.416 million tonnes of coal on a freight-on-road (FOR) basis, the report added.

Behind Adani were Mohit Minerals and Chettinad Logistics, who quoted Rs 4,182 crore, and Rs 4,222 crore, respectively, the report said. The bids opened on Friday.

Debt-ridden Future Enterprises Ltd (FEL) has announced another default, this time on payment of interest of Rs 6.15 crore for its non-convertible debentures.

The due date for payment was June 29, 2022, FEL said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.
