EnCore Oil plc (LSE:EO.) is a UK based oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) company quoted on AIM. EnCore Oil plc focuses on the UK Central North Sea and UK onshore regions. EnCore Oil plc also has offshore operations in Ireland, the Netherlands, and Western Sahara. The company used to explore for gold and silver but shifted its focus to acquiring interests in onshore exploration licenses. Oil Quest had started a drilling program with appraisal and exploration wells on the Isle of Wight, which EnCore Oil plc held as part of a consortium that included Northern Petroleum.
