Agri-Science Park, ICRISAT
Agri-Science Park, ICRISAT (ASP), was set up in December 2003 as the flagship initiative of ICRISAT which will act as the umbrella for all the partnership related work done at ICRISAT in order to integrate the approach into one framework. Strategically ASP signed an agreement with the Government of Andhra Pradesh as a part of the Genome Valley project positioning as the Ag-biotech Hub of the Genome Valley . Through ASP, ICRISAT proposes to transfer technologies, enter into joint ventures, with private sector. The goal of the ASP is to help achieve ICRISAT's mandate to develop agriculture in the SAT and, thereby reduce poverty and hunger, as well as protect the environment.

International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture (ICCOA)
In 2003, a number of NGOs, farmer organizations, companies, research institutions and government agencies took the initiative of forming an organization to provide services to the organic farming and organic stakeholders in India. In a planning workshop at National Academy for Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), Delhi, the stakeholders agreed on a joint vision and road map for building up the Competence Centre. It is ICCOA's mission to help build the competence of individuals and organizations of the South Asian region in organic agriculture and thereby contribute to building ecologically, economically and socially sustainable agriculture and organic business. ICCOA aims at becoming a Knowledge and Learning Center for all facets of organic agriculture. An excellent provider of information services, advice and market linkages to everyone involved in organic agriculture.
