Ministry of Law And Justice comprises of the Legislative Department and the Department of Legal Affairs. The Department of Legal Affairs is concerned with advising the various Ministries of the Central Government while the Legislative Department is concerned with drafting of principal legislation for the Central Government. National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC)
The separate financing agency for Minorities in the form of National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC) was incorporated under the aegis of Ministry Of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of INDIA on the 30th of September 1994 under the Section 25 of the Companies Act - 1956 with the main objective to promote economic development of the poorer section of Minorities.
