While Sterling was popular for screening films like Basic Instinct and Indecent Proposal, Skyline was well known for its films like Cliffhanger and Flubber. BI and Cliffhanger were released around the same time and I still remember venturing into Sterling to watch the latter with three friends quite hesitantly, feeling awkward about being noticed around that godforsaken place.
No such hassles anymore and so I now watch most of the English movies released there — whether the proposal is decent or indecent. Its digital sound track system is splendid. Skyline, I am sure, can easily accommodate around 900 people and Sterling too doesn’t lag behind in this regard.
