Private investment for development of country infrastructure has grown rapidly in India over last decade. As in other countries over the past 150 years, the railway industry developed; but significantly over the past 10 years the industry has been transformed. Indian Railways is also on path of modernization, encouraging private investment to meet ever-increasing demand of traffic facilities & safety in urban and regional transport. Integra Hindustan Control LTD (IHC) is pursuing the business related to railway infrastructure industry. IHC is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of Railway signalling equipment to Indian Railways.

Apart from bulk supply orders from Indian Railways for supply of signalling equipment, IHC has also developed capability to carry out indoor / outdoor turnkey signalling projects involving design, supply, installation and commissioning of signalling gears. IHC is growing strongly in process of nation building and see the future of Indian Railways as potential market for private participation in construction as well as service infrastructure of Railways. During late eighties, when India was gearing up for economic development, Indian Railways like other infrastructure development body were facing the prime concerns such as lack of market competitiveness and commitment to deliver from private participation. We were self-motivated to serve the progressive nation by offering competitive and world-class solutions in the niche market of Railway signalling.

Keeping in view of above objectives, IHC was founded in year 1988 under technical collaboration with Integra Holding AG of Switzerland for manufacture of metal to metal contact signalling relays, which ensure safe passage of trains through interlocking functions, replacing the old technology of mechanical lever frames. Integra Holding AG of Switzerland is the promoter of this company.

IHC, being frontrunner in delivering the products & systems on time and also committed to customer satisfaction through continual improvement of products and systems believe in higher standard of quality to ensure efficient operational management and enhancement of traffic capacity. Product technology introduced by IHC on Indian Railways is based on �fail safe� principal of safety. Entire range of safety products of IHC i.e. relays and Audio Frequency Track Circuits are approved by Railway�s approval authority, Research Designs Standard Organization (RDSO), Lucknow after fulfilling the requirement of rigorous endurance and performance tests.
